How to use
Search stock via agent
"Search stock for 'office workers'"
"Find stock footage of nature"
"Get stock photos of technology"
Search manually
- Click Stock tab in left panel
- Enter search term
- Press Enter
- Browse results with thumbnails
- Click result to import
Filter results
- Photos — still images
- Videos — motion footage
- All — both
Importing results
Single import:
- Click thumbnail → imports to bin
Batch import:
- Select multiple (Shift+click)
- Click "Import selected"
Using stock
Once imported:
- Drag to timeline — use like any media
- Reframe — crop vertical stock to horizontal
- Apply effects — color grade, effects
- As B-roll — overlay on main content
License
Pexels content:
- Free for personal and commercial use
- Attribution appreciated, not required
- Don't redistribute unmodified
Quality
- Images — various sizes (select on import)
- Videos — typically up to 4K (depends on source)
- Auto-optimized for browser playback
Tips
- Specific keywords — "person typing laptop" vs "office"
- Vertical stock — search "vertical in query for TikTok/Reels"
- Preview before importing — click to see larger preview
- Use as B-roll — import stock, then insert via agent or manually
