Export formats

Quality settings

Presets

  • Low — small files, okay for testing
  • Medium — balanced
  • High — recommended; best quality/size balance
  • Very High — maximum; larger files

Custom bitrate

For specific file size targets:

  • 0.1 Mbps — minimum; very compressed
  • 8-12 Mbps — High quality 1080p
  • 20-50 Mbps — Very high; 4K, pro delivery
  • 200 Mbps max — ceiling for ProRes-like

Include audio

Toggle for video exports. GIF never has audio.

How to export

Via UI

  1. Click Export button (top-right)
  2. Select format (MP4, WebM, GIF)
  3. Choose quality preset or custom bitrate
  4. Click Export
  5. Wait for render progress
  6. File downloads automatically

Cancel/retry

  • Cancel — stops mid-render; partial result discarded
  • Retry — re-runs failed exports

Canvas size

Export resolution matches your project canvas:

  • 1080×1920 (9:16) — TikTok, Reels, Shorts
  • 1920×1080 (16:9) — YouTube, landscape
  • 1080×1080 (1:1) — Instagram, square
  • 4K — if your project is 3840×2160

Change canvas: Project → Settings → Canvas size (first, before exporting).

Export progress

  • Shows percent complete
  • Time remaining — estimated (slow scenes take longer)
  • Can cancel mid-render

Sharing

Share button

When sharing is configured:

  1. Click Share (next to Export)
  2. Agent renders the video
  3. Uploads to sharing backend
  4. Returns shareable URL: pluged.ai/s/xyz123

Share page viewers see

  • Your video plays
  • "Made with Pluged AI" branding
  • "Make your own" CTA link
  • Works on any device

Copy link

  • Click Copy link
  • Share anywhere: text, email, social
  • Post with one click: "Post on X"

Requirements

Sharing requires Firebase Storage configuration.

Contact your admin if Share button doesn't appear.

GIF limitations

  • No audio — animated image only
  • 256 colors — limited palette
  • Short clips — cap on length for longer content
  • Looping — naturally loops

Best for: Quick reactions, short demos, social stickers.

Tips

  • Reframe first — change canvas before exporting vertical
  • High is the sweet spot — great quality, reasonable file size
  • Test WebM — if file size matters and compatibility allows
  • Custom bitrate — when you need exact file size
  • Share for collaboration — easier than sending 100MB files
